Deposit Policy, Payment Options & Refunds - FAQs section
You will find answers to 99.9% of all of your questions here. If you do not
find the answer to your question(s) here, please contact us and we will answer all of
your questions in the shortest amount of time possible.
Q. What is your deposit policy?
A. A deposit equal to or less than 50% will be due within 24-48 hours in order to
book and confirm your reservation with us and can be as low as just 25%. Your
deposit requirement will vary depending on the package selected and number of
nights for your stay with us.
Q. What are your payment options?
A. The following payment options are available:
- Cash Deposit - If you are in the NYC area, this payment option is available to
you. We have a corporate bank account held under a completely different
name at a Federal Savings Bank in NYC that you can use free of charge with
no transaction limitations. Banking hours are generally from 9am to 4pm EST,
Monday - Friday and Saturdays from 10am to 1pm EST. Note: We are in the
process of opening a Bank of America business account. If you have a B of A
branch near you and would prefer to pay this way, please let us know.
- Cash via Money Gram - The fee is just $3.95 per $1,000 USD transaction
which is also the limit for using this service. Money gram has thousands and
thousands of agent locations across the United States and even in most
Walmart's and CVS stores. If your deposit amount due is over this amount,
you can pay the remaining deposit balance due by using any of the other
payment methods.
- Personal or Business Check - You can write a check made payable to our
corporate entity based in NYC and mail it using overnight mail. You may even
be able to write off this vacation as a business expense if you are a business
owner. Checks take 5 business days to clear once deposited into our account
and generally 2-3 days to receive by postal mail. This option is only available if
your arrival date is more than three weeks away.
- Bank Wire - You can use our corporate bank account in NYC to send a bank
wire to, The cost for this is a flat fee of $25 USD. Domestic bank wires
generally take up to 1 or 2 business days to clear, if not the same day.
- Visa \ MasterCard via Internet - You can pay by using your debit or credit
card from the comfort of your home or office online, quickly, and securely.
The company that we use is an online international money transfer service
that has been offering a secure, fast, and inexpensive way to send money to
friends, family and businesses in 38 countries, and counting, since 2002. The
fee to use this payment method is 5.4% or $54 USD for every $1,000 USD
transaction. You can pay up to $3,000 USD this way. Funds clear immediately
after your payment has passed through the payment verification and
compliance process, which can take 1-3 hours.
- Visa \ MasterCard by Telephone - If you prefer to pay by Telephone, we
use Western Union's Telephone Money Transfer service to process these type
of transactions. They are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The fee to
use this payment method is 8 to 10% depending on your location. You can
pay up to $3,000 USD by using this method. Funds clear almost instantly.
You will be emailed detailed instructions on how to process your deposit payment
and confirm your reservations with us. Any remaining balance can be paid upon arrival
in cash (USD) or by using your American Express \ Visa \ MasterCard, debit or credit
card, via the swipe machine at a local Dominican bank or for your convenience, you
can opt to pay the entire balance at the same time your deposit is due so you don't
have to carry any excess, large amounts, of cash on you. Monies due upon arrival will
be calculated at the prevailing market rate as indicated by the owner of the
company. Guest will be responsible for any differences in the bank exchange rate and
what the street is paying since payment will be received in the local currency and
payment will be due in United States Dollars.
Please Note: Your deposit payment to secure your reservations with us will be due
within 24-48 hours from the time you submitted your reservation to us. Space is
limited and our adult vacation packages and services are high in demand due to our
low prices so you are encouraged to make all the necessary arrangements needed to
book and confirm your reservation with us ahead of time. This includes your flight
arrangements, asking your employer for vacation time off, the deposit payment, etc.
Q. What is your refund policy?
A. No refunds will be allowed for any reason due to the nature of our business and
the high risk of potential lost revenue due to missed bookings. However, any monies
paid will always be your money to use. As part of Tour 69's commitment to complete
customer satisfaction, we have implemented the "Worry Free Travel Program". Please
see below for details. Your satisfaction with our adult vacation packages and services
is guaranteed each step of the way.
Q. What is your Worry Free Travel Program?
A. When you confirm your reservation with a deposit, you are automatically enrolled
in our Worry Free Travel program, which is a form of travel insurance, free of charge,
offered by us. With our Worry Free Travel program, you can relax knowing you will
receive full credit for your vacation deposit in the event you get tied up at work or at
home and have to reschedule or postpone your vacation for a later date up to one
full year from the date of your original arrival date. Monies are lost and unrecoverable
after one year. You can reschedule penalty free, but only if you travel on the same
vacation package and number of nights and notify us at least 24 hours before your
expected time of arrival. For example, if you are scheduled to arrive on a Thursday at
1:45pm local time, you must notify us by or before 1:45pm EST on Wednesday, the
day before, if you need to cancel and reschedule.
Please Note: All reschedule notifications received less than 24 hours away from your
expected time of arrival will incur a penalty fee equal to 50% or more of your deposit
payment. All changes to an already existing confirmed reservation will also be subject
to this penalty fee. All monies paid are non-refundable.
